During 2012, the theft of 602 cultural goods were recorded in 9 peruvian regions, included Lima (capital city) and Cusco (important cultural and touristic destination), representing 60% of the cases.
The theft of paintings, gold objects, silverware, statues, ceramic, garments, among others, are concentrated mostly in religious buildings (86%), even cathedrals.
